Arab Finance: B Investments Holding has purchased 3.311 billion shares or a 68.9% stake of Orascom Financial Holding (OFH), as per an announcement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on April 18^th.

In February, B Investments offered to acquire up to 4.249 billion shares, representing 90% of the capital of OFH.

Under the purchase offer, B Investments was seeking to close the takeover deal via a share swap of 1 share of its capital for 56.76 shares of OFH’s capital.

B Investments Holding Company will issue capital increase shares of up to 74.859 million shares to be swapped, and the increased shares will be allocated to OFH’s shareholders who respond to the purchase offer, with a minimum implementation rate of 51%.
