Arab Finance: Urbnlanes Developments, Emeel Abdalla Investments Group’s major real estate development arm, has entered a strategic partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts to open two new hotels under the renowned brand Crowne Plaza in Cairo, according to an emailed press release.

Valued at over EGP 4 billion, the two hotels mark a significant move in both the hospitality and real estate sectors.

These hotels will be located in prime spots. The first, Crowne Plaza New Cairo, will be part of the Yellow Residence project, situated near key business hubs and Cairo International Airport. It will feature 180 rooms, a 24/7 restaurant, five meeting spaces, a club lounge, and event facilities.

The second hotel is Crowne Plaza Levels Tower in the New Administrative Capital's Levels Business Tower project. It features 110 rooms designed for business travelers, along with three upscale restaurants and five meeting facilities.

Scheduled for opening in 2028, these hotels reflect a commitment to top-notch quality.

Since its incorporation 35 years ago in Kuwait, Urbnlanes Developments has become a leader in the Egyptian real estate market, with a EGP 46 billion worth of land portfolio spanning over 450,000 square meters.
