Turkish Ambassador to Egypt visits Beko Egypt’s factory in 10th of Ramadan City

Arab Finance: The Turkish Ambassador to Egypt Salih Mutlu ?en has went on a tour at the Beko Home Appliances Factory in 10th of Ramadan City, as per an emailed press release.
This visit aimed to inform the ambassador with the operational achievements of the factory, which come in line with efforts to foster economic growth, strengthen trade ties, and boost investments between Egypt and Türkiye.
During his tour at the factory, the ambassador was accompanied by Umit Gunel, General Manager of Beko Egypt and Regional Director for North West Africa.
“Our steadfast determination to expand our operations in Egypt aligns with our vision and contributes to bolstering the national economy, in line with the shared goals of both nations to foster investment cooperation," Gunel commented.
The ambassador expressed his delight over Beko's presence in Egypt that promote economic cooperation between the two nations.
With investments worth around $100 million and providing over 2,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, Beko’s factory in Egypt is poised to boost the Egyptian economic development by surpassing a 50% local component target.
It is worth noting that Beko Egypt Trading Company is injecting investments into the Egyptian retail business, with the aim to open 250 concept stores and 50 service centers, in addition to creating 1,000 additional jobs to contribute Egyptian economy.
