Madbouly attends joint annual meetings of Arab Financial Institutions 2024

Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly attended the opening session of the joint annual meetings of Arab Financial Institutions 2024, on behalf of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as per a statement.

Madbouly pointed out that this year's edition comes against the backdrop of regional and international developments, especially the war in the Gaza Strip and its economic repercussions on all countries. 

The Egyptian premier shed light on the importance of the role of Arab financial bodies in supporting Arab countries to overcome the current challenges and work to resume their development plans in a way that lives up to the aspirations of its people.

Discussions from the following organizations will be held during the joint annual meetings: the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, the Arab Finance Ministers Council, the Board of Governors of the Arab Monetary Fund, the Board of Governors of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, the Board of Governors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, and the Board of Shareholders of the Arab Corporation for the Guarantee of Investment and Export Credit.

These gatherings provide an essential forum for discussing important economic and development issues pertaining to the Arab world. Through cultivating collaboration and coordinated efforts, they support the group endeavors targeted at attaining wealth and sustainable development throughout the Arab world.
