EGX OKs listing Eastern Company’s EGP 770M capital increase

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) listing committee has approved listing an increase of EGP 770 million for Eastern Company’s issued and paid-up capital, according to a filing on May 22nd.

Hence, the capital shall be increased to EGP 3 billion from EGP 2.230 billion by the issuance of 770 million shares, equivalent to 0.345-for-1 bonus share, at a nominal value of EGP 1 per share.

Accordingly, the company will distribute the 0.345-for-1 bonus shares, with eligibility to shareholders until a record date of May 6th.

The company's capital after the increase will be listed on the EGX's database on June 6th.
