Arab Finance: The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), represented by the Applied Innovation Center (AIC), has signed an agreement with AstraZeneca Egypt to develop AI-powered healthcare solutions, as per a statement by the ministry.

The agreement covers conducting research using advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to facilitate data collection and enable early detection of diseases.

It also aims to contribute to integrating the expertise of AIC and AstraZeneca to develop further advanced technological applications in the healthcare sector, with a focus on improving the quality of health services provided to citizens, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat highlighted.
