Arab Finance: Egypt’s readymade garment exports rose by 23% year on year (YoY) during the first four months of 2024, hitting $856 million, Asharq Business reported, citing data from the Readymade Garments Export Council of Egypt (RMGEC).

The data showed a growth in exports to the US by 14% and to the European Union (EU) countries by 33%.

The value of readymade garment exports to the Arab countries amounted to $173 million in the January-April period.

This included $52 million worth of exports to Saudi Arabia, the top Arab importer of Egyptian ready-made garments.
