Arab Finance: The Turkish ready-made garments firm Sirikcioglu will establish a jeans manufacturing factory in Port Said, with investments of $700 million, the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir announced.
To be set up on a 100,000-square-meter area, the factory is set to create around 5,000 job opportunities in its first phase, the minister added.
Samir has also met with representatives of key Turkish firms in the fields of ready-made garments, textiles, home appliances, and soda ash to discuss their investment plans in the Egyptian market.
