GASC secures 25,000 tons of soybean oil from local suppliers

Arab Finance: The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has secured 25,000 tons of Egyptian-produced soybean oil from four suppliers at a price of EGP 47,000 per ton, Reuters reported.

Moreover, the authority has cancelled an international soybean oil import tender as prices were unsuitable.

However, GASC seeks imported soybean oil in an international tender it submitted on June 23^rd, with shipment set for arrival between August 10^th to 25^th and/or August 26^th to September 10^th.
