Arab Finance: The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has procured 470,000 metric tons of wheat in an international tender at an average price of $246 per ton, Reuters reported.

The shipment consists of 50,000 tons of Bulgarian wheat, 60,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat, 180,000 tons of Russian wheat, and 180,000 tons of Romanian wheat, GASC said.

Russian wheat was offered at the lowest price, mainly because the unofficial price floor was not applied in this tender, traders said.
