B.TECH, CIB to issue EGP 7.5B securitized bond program within 3 years

Arab Finance: B.TECH has agreed with the Commercial International Bank (CIB) to issue a three-year securitized bond program worth a total of EGP 7.5 billion, B.TECH’s Chairman Mahmoud Khattab told Asharq Business.

The first issuance was carried out days ago at a value of EGP 1.2 billion, Khattab revealed, noting that it is targeting another securitized bond issuance before year-end, Khattab added.

He noted that electronic sales in Egypt have been declining since 2022 due to the increasing prices.
