Arab Finance: The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawy has inaugurated the third edition of the Egypt Mining Forum (EMF), as per a statement.

With the presence of the Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al-Kharabsheh and the UAE Ambassador to Cairo Ambassador Maryam AlKaabi, the forum is bringing together heads and officials of major mining companies and international financial institutions, as well as experts and specialists.

Badawy highlighted the significant potential of Egypt's mining sector, supported by the economic reform program.

He outlined steps to harness this potential, emphasizing collaboration across ministries to establish a favorable regulatory framework for investment.

Badawy added that Egypt will launch soon its mining portal, aimed at enhancing decision-making and access to crucial data, thus catalyzing mining investments.
