Greek Energean discovers natural gas, oil-bearing layers in Egypt

Arab Finance: The Greek energy firm Energean has discovered two natural gas and oil-bearing layers in an exploratory well in Egypt, Asharq Business reported.

The new well is expected to produce 15 million cubic feet of natural gas per day along with condensates.

Additionally, Energean has increased production at the Abu Qir fields to approximately 65 million cubic feet of gas per day and 1,250 barrels of condensates, following the drilling of four new well.
