Egypt’s merchandize exports to Saudi Arabia up 13% YoY in H1 2024

Arab Finance: Egypt’s merchandize exports to Saudi Arabia rose by 13% year on year (YoY) in the first half (H1) of 2024, hitting $1.587 billion, Asharq Business reported, citing an official document.

The document revealed that the Egyptian exports to Saudi Arabia in H1 2024 mark the highest in five years.

The volume of merchandize trade between both countries dropped by around 8.5% to $2.6 billion in H1 2024, given the decrease in imports from the kingdom by roughly 28.8% YoY to $1.056 billion, the document showed.
