Arab Finance: The General Authority of Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) has laid the foundation stone of the Eroglu Garments factory in the West Qantara Industrial Zone, as per a statement.

In cooperation with the Türkiye-based Eroglu Global Holding Group, the factory is set to be established on 64,000 square meters with total investments of $40 million.

The project is expected to create around 2,750 job opportunities after operation in January 2025.

The factory is also anticipated to see future expansions on an area of 400,000 square meters.

Moreover, it targets exports worth $100 million, representing 70% of the factory’s production, with the remaining 30% to be directed to the local market.

On May 28^th, the SCZONE inked a land usufruct agreement of a 65,000-square-meter land plot for the Eroglu Egypt for Readymade Garments factory.
