Arab Finance: Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi is scheduled to arrive in New Delhi, India, on Tuesday, January 24th, in a three-day visit to participate for the first time ever in the South Asian country’s 74th Republic Day celebrations as the chief guest, India's Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement on January 21st.

El-Sisi has previously visited India in October 2015 to participate in the 3rd India Africa Forum Summit and in September 2016 on a State Visit.

According to the statement, trade exchange between the two countries hit a record high of $7.26 billion during the elapsed fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022.
