Cabinet approves indicative prices for 2025 sugar crop supply season

Arab Finance: The cabinet has approved the indicative prices of sugar crops for the 2025 supply season, as per a statement.

The price of supplying sugar cane has been set at EGP 2,500 per ton, while the price of supplying sugar beet was set at EGP 2,400 per ton.

This decision aims to encourage farmers to grow strategic crops and expand in their production as per the indirectives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which will contribute to meeting the local market's demand and cutting the state's import bill.
