MSMEDA pens $3M financing contract with Enmaa Finance to support exporters

Arab Finance: The CEO of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) Basil Rahmy has signed a $3 million financing contract with Enmaa Finance Company to provide financial support to medium and small enterprises engaged in export activities, as per a statement.

This funding will enable exporters with foreign currency collections to utilize the international discounting system, ensuring they have the necessary resources to continue and expand their operations.

The funding, provided through the World Bank's "Catalyzing Entrepreneurship for Job Creation Project," will be used as revolving accounts to offer short-term financing to small and medium enterprises involved in exports.

This initiative is expected to boost production by providing the necessary dollar liquidity for raw materials and production requirements.
