Arab Finance: Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib met with the Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Ahmed El Wakil to discuss strategies for improving the business environment, enhancing exports, and attracting new investments, as per a statement.

During the meeting, El Khatib outlined the ministry’s vision and goals, emphasizing the state's efforts to encourage investments across various sectors.

He stressed the importance of providing more support for investors and the private sector, highlighting the government's collaboration with ministries and other authorities to unlock new investment opportunities.

Meanwhile, El Wakil affirmed the ministry’s commitment to creating a more favorable investment climate and shared insights from a survey of private sector perspectives on reform priorities.

He also emphasized the role of chambers of commerce in fostering international cooperation, developing exports, and attracting investments through various joint chambers and federations.
