ArabFinance: Egypt's engineering exports increased 10% year-on-year (YoY) in 2022, totaling $3.836 billion, for the first time in its history, compared to $3.497 billion in 2021, Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on January 22nd.
According to an Engineering Export Council report, exports of cables increased by 25.6%, automotive components by 13.8%, electrical products by 18.4%, and household appliances by 0.8%.
Top importers of Egyptian engineering products last year included the UK, France, and Algeria.
