Arab Finance: Egypt’s trade balance deficit dropped by 5.1% year on year (YoY) to $2.87 billion in June 2024, compared to $3.02 billion, according to a press release issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
The value of Egyptian exports hit $3.13 billion last June, down by 1.6% YoY from $3.18 billion.
Similarly, the value of Egypt’s imports fell by 3.3% YoY to $6 billion last June from $6.21 billion.
