EGX off on September 15th for Prophet Muhammad’s birthday

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced that Sunday, September 15th, 2024, corresponding to Rabi' al-Awwal 12th of the Hijri year of 1446, will be an official holiday on the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, according to a statement.

The EGX will resume trading sessions on Monday, September 16th.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced earlier the same holiday for employees across ministries, government bodies, local administration units, and public and private sector companies.
