Arab Finance: Badya University, a joint venture between real estate developer Palm Hills Developments Company and Taaleem Management Services, was inaugurated on September 9th in New October City, according to a cabinet statement.
Built on a 167,000-square-meter area, the university comprises five faculties, which were established in partnership with the University of Texas.
The university is set to open doors for students as of the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
Total investments of the university’s first phase amount to around EGP 1.8 billion, with EGP 500 million allocated for the land plot and EGP 1.3 billion for the infrastructure and construction works, as per a statement by Taaleem Management Services.
It is worthy to note that Palm Hills owns 40% of the university, as announced by the company.
