Arab Finance: Paragon, a leading Egyptian real estate development company, took part in a roundtable discussion organized by Invest-Gate, focusing on "Proptech Innovations: Shaping the Real Estate Market," as per an emailed press release.

The event, held on September 9th at the Nile Ritz-Carlton in Cairo, is part of Paragon's ongoing support for the "PropteX" accelerator program, which aims to boost proptech startups working on smart and sustainable cities.

The roundtable, sponsored by Paragon, brought together experts from the industry to explore the latest trends in the proptech sector and their impact on Egypt's real estate market.

Bedeir Rizk, CEO of Paragon Real Estate Development and Managing Partner at ABEC, shared insights on Paragon's efforts to foster innovation through PropteX, emphasizing that supporting proptech startups is key to shaping future cities.

PropteX provides startups with business development, consulting, and investment guidance, empowering them to help build smart cities and positioning Egypt as a regional innovation hub.

Rizk highlighted global market expectations, citing a study predicting the proptech sector to grow by nearly 12% annually from 2024 to 2032, potentially reaching $89.93 billion.

The roundtable featured 15 prominent speakers and addressed the role of both the private and government sectors in advancing real estate innovation.

Paragon's PropteX accelerator, along with other private sector initiatives, provides crucial investment and support for startups, while government regulations aim to enhance Egypt's appeal as an investment destination.
