Madbouly orders formation of ministerial group for entrepreneurship

Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has issued a decree on the formation of a ministerial group for entrepreneurship, according to a cabinet statement.

As per the decree, the Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat will chair this group.

Members of the ministerial group will include the Ministers of Communication and Information Technology, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Supply and Internal Trade, and Investment and Foreign Trade.

This is in addition to the Chairman of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) and representatives of the Ministry of Industry, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), and the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA).

The group aims to promote start-ups and the entrepreneurial climate to achieve rapid and sustainable economic development based on competitiveness and knowledge, contributing to creating decent job opportunities.
