PROPTEX, Cityscape partner to launch Egypt's 1st propTech challenge

Arab Finance: PROPTEX, the first proptech acceleration program in the MENA region focused on sustainability and smart cities, has partnered with Cityscape to host the Egypt PropTech Challenge 2024, as per an emailed press release.
Egypt PropTech Challenge 2024 is the country's first competition aimed at showcasing innovative solutions in the real estate sector.
The competition will be launched on September 25th during Cityscape Egypt, in line with PROPTEX's mission of promoting innovation and providing a supportive environment for promising startups.
Through this challenge, startups will gain exposure to the PropTech community and receive valuable support from the program.
Submissions are open until September 20th, with winners being announced on September 25th after a Demo Day where startups will present their solutions to a panel of judges and potential investors.
The challenge is open to all proptech startups with solutions in areas like smart buildings, green construction technology, sustainable proptech, and property management.
Startups must have a validated Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and meet certain criteria, including having a team of at least two members, customer traction, and generating monthly recurring revenue.
Participating startups will have the chance to present their solutions to over 70 developers in the Egyptian market and receive feedback and mentorship from industry experts.
