Badawi highlights Egypt’s energy future approach at Gastech roundtable

Arab Finance: Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi led a roundtable titled "Egypt: Shaping a Pragmatic and Realistic Energy Future" at the Gastech International Conference in Houston, as per a statement.
Within the framework of communication between The Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) and Gastech, the roundtable brought together energy ministers, global companies, and international organizations.
Badawi outlined Egypt’s strategy to attract investments in various fields, especially in the energy sector, and addressed challenges faced by foreign companies.
Key discussions focused on the North African country’s short-term energy plans, accelerating new discoveries, and promoting clean energy sources.
He emphasized the importance of securing energy supplies and reducing carbon emissions through digital transformation and modern technology.
The roundtable also highlighted efforts to boost investments in natural gas industry.
