Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated Beko’s first home appliances manufacturing complex in Egypt, located in the 10th of Ramadan City, as per a statement.

The 14,000-square-meter facility has the capacity to produce 1.5 million appliances annually, including refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers.

It will also manufacture products for global brands like Whirlpool, Ariston, Indesit, and Hitachi.

Beko plans to export 60% of its production to the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, targeting $250 million in annual export revenue.

The complex also features a research center and training programs, positioning it as a regional manufacturing hub.

The project began in 2022, with production starting just a year later, thanks to the government’s golden license initiative.

Beko officials highlighted that 50% of the complex's components are locally sourced, contributing to the local economy and generating 2,000 job opportunities.
