BAIC in talks with Egyptian government to establish local car assembly plant

Arab Finance: BAIC International is in talks with the Egyptian government to set up a local assembly plant for its vehicles, Al Mal reported.

The assembly plant will be launched in collaboration with BAIC’s agent in Egypt, Alkan Auto.

The facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2025, supporting the company's plans to expand its footprint in the Egyptian market.
