Arab Finance: The Egyptian Minister of Electricity Mahmoud Esmat has discussed potential cooperation with China Southern Power Grid International (CSGI) in the fields of electricity loss reduction, emergency vehicles, mobile batteries, and power storage, as per a statement.
This came during a meeting between Esmat and the Chinese firm’s Chairman Fan Yaliang to mull cooperation in several fields.
During the meeting, both sides discussed proposals on how to curb low-voltage electricity loss and theft within the framework of a plan to manage wasted energy, especially household and industrial energy.
Moreover, they discussed a project for power generation via pumping and storing water, as well as a project for power generation through batteries and mobile emergency vehicles.
The meeting also tackled the possibility of benefiting from the stored renewable energy to cope with the high loads and stabilize the unified grid.
