Egypt partners with global institutions in $1.5B health funding initiative

Arab Finance: Egypt has joined a new $1.5 billion primary health financing platform launched by the World Health Organization (WHO) and three multilateral development banks: the African Development Bank (AfDB), the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), according to an EIB statement.

The Health Impact Investment Platform aims to provide loans and grants to enhance and expand primary health services in 15 low- and middle-income countries, including Egypt.
