Canal Shipping Agencies’ net profits surge 99% YoY in FY 2023/24

Arab Finance: Canal Shipping Agencies (CSAG) reported a 99% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profits after tax during the fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024, according to the audited financial indicators.

The company logged net profits after tax of EGP 726.37 million last FY, compared to EGP 364.899 million the year before.

Meanwhile, revenues went up to EGP 101.557 million from EGP 81.325 million.

Canal Shipping is a subsidiary of the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport that provides marine port services and shipping services to international commercial fleets.

The company operates four agencies, namely Aswan Shipping Agency, Assuit Shipping Agency, El Menia Shipping Agency, and Damanhour Shipping Agency.
