Investment Minister meets Dallah Albaraka CEO to discuss future projects in Egypt

Arab Finance: Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib met with Abdulaziz Mohammed Abdo Yamani, CEO of the Saudi-based Dallah Albaraka Holding, to discuss the group's current and future projects in Egypt, as per a statement.

The meeting focused on investment opportunities within the Egyptian market, encompassing sectors such as real estate development, tourism, trade, financial services, food and agriculture, and healthcare.

El-Khatib emphasized the ministry's commitment to supporting both local and foreign investments in Egypt.

He noted the country's favorable investment climate, citing key factors such as a skilled labor force, access to raw materials, abundant energy sources, and a strategic geographical location that allows access to broader markets.

Additionally, he highlighted Egypt's large consumer base as a significant attraction for investors.

For his part, Yamani acknowledged the support provided by Egyptian officials to the Saudi business community.

He noted that Dallah Albaraka Holding has operated in Egypt for 60 years, underscoring the group's confidence in the Egyptian economy and its intention to expand its presence.

Yamani pointed out that the current investment opportunities in Egypt are unprecedented, expressing the group's eagerness to capitalize on these prospects and play a significant role in the market.
