PaySky seeks to expand in Saudi market in Q1 2025

Arab Finance: The payment solutions provider PaySky is planning to expand in the Saudi market within the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 via its Yalla app, Al Borsa News reported, citing the firm’s Founder and CEO Waleed Sadek

The app will allow Egyptians expats in Saudi Arabia to send remittances to Egypt, in cooperation with partners in the country, Sadek noted.

Sadek further stated that the new service will enable payments via the Yalla card.

He added that the company is currently in the process of forging partnerships with financial institutions in the UAE and Saudi Arabia to expedite the immediate transfer of money to Egypt.

Moreover, the company is awaiting the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) activation of requirements, approvals, and licenses necessary to activate integrated points of sale in the market, as they are more cost-effective than traditional points of sale, Sadek said.
