Arab Finance: The cabinet has greenlit a draft resolution on amending some provisions of the executive regulations of the Law on Rights of Persons with Disabilities, according to a statement.

The amendments concern the governance measures of disability cars import system.

As per the amendments, a disability proof card is required for applicants to qualify for the exemption from customs duties and value-added tax (VAT) on disability cars.

In addition, the manufacturing year of imported cars for persons with disabilities is limited to a maximum of three years, including the manufacturing year.
