Arab Finance: The Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company (Petrojet) has implemented projects in favor of Algeria’s Sonatrach with business volume exceeding $6 billion since 2006, Business Development Manager Mohamed Fouad told Asharq Business.

Fouad noted that his company seeks to expand further in Algeria, given the stability in the Algerian market.

He pointed out that Petrojet inked a framework agreement with Sonatrach to establish a factory for manufacturing static equipment, such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and distillation towers, used in petroleum, industrial, and power plant projects.

Fouad expects the initial production of equipment bearing the “Made in Algeria” sign to take place within a year.
