Arab Finance: The Egyptian government will not hike fuel prices further within the coming six months, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly stated in a press conference during his visit to Minya on October 19th.
He said the government is obliged to gradually increase fuel prices until the end of 2025 in order to achieve stability and reduce inflation rates in the coming period.
Madbouly also noted that the government would have the opportunity to not raise the prices of petroleum products as planned until the end of 2025 if global oil prices stabilize at an average of $73 to $74 per barrel, as reported by Asharq Business.
This came after the recent increase in fuel prices in Egypt.
