I-Score-S&P consortium about to win credit rating license in Egypt

Arab Finance: A consortium made up of the Egyptian credit bureau I-Score and S&P Global Ratings is nearly ready to obtain a second credit rating license in Egypt, three sources in the know told Asharq Business.

The winning consortium was notified by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) to proceed with the licensing procedures after submitting the required documents, including a certificate of non-ambiguity, one source said.

The FRA could officially announce the winner within the coming few days, he added.
