Arab Finance: The agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) must be reviewed if it is going to put Egyptians in an intolerable situation, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said.
This came on the sidelines of the second edition of the Global Congress on Population, Health, and Human Development, held in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).
It was reported previously that the IMF is set to begin the fourth review of Egypt’s economic reform program in November.
This review is crucial for the release of a $1.3 billion loan tranche, the largest among the scheduled payments.
