El-Khatib, international automakers’ agents mull localization of automotive industry in Egypt

Arab Finance: The Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib has met with distributors of international car brands and car agents and dealers to probe the localization of the automotive industry in Egypt, as per a statement.

The meeting also addressed the challenges facing the automotive industry in Egypt.

This came within the framework of the country’s efforts to localize the automotive industry and create an export base.
