Arab Finance: The Green Climate Fund has approved funding proposals for three multi-country sustainable development programs, unleashing $2.687 billion in funding across several countries, including Egypt, Egyptian Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad stated.
The funding comprises $1.295 billion for greening financial systems in 14 Asian and African countries, including Egypt.
This is in addition to a $130 million for an investment fund for resilient smart agriculture in 10 African countries, including Egypt.
The funding will also include a sum of $1.262 billion for expanding water-resilient infrastructure across 14 countries, including Egypt.
