Egypt relocates renewable energy projects to SCZone

Arab Finance: Egypt has decided to relocate several renewable energy projects intended for green hydrogen production from areas east and west of the Nile to new sites near the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), an unnamed government official told Asharq Business.

The decision involves three designated sites, each covering approximately one million square meters.

The move was prompted by financial considerations, the offiaicla said.
