Arab Finance: Minister of Investment Hassan El-Khatib and Vice Chairman of Agility Tarek Sultan have reviewed the latest updates on the company’s project to develop a modern logistics zone at the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) in Ain Sokhna, according to a statement.
During their meeting on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, El-Khatib noted that the project, which has a total investment of $60 million, will contribute to advancing the customs system and facilitating the trade movement.
He also called on the company to increase its investments in Egypt, stressing the government's commitment to providing a stimulating investment environment that supports global partnerships.
Agility’s project in Ain Sokhna is being built on a total area of 100,000 square meters, with the first phase covering 25,000 square meters and the second spanning 75,000 square meters.
The project aims to provide innovative solutions to boost the efficiency of customs operations, reinforce the state’s economy, and anchor Egypt’s position as a global logistics center.
