Arab Finance: The Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib is heading to Berlin to attend the first economic summit between Egypt and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, as per a statement.
During his visit, the minister will hold talks with senior German officials to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
El-Khatib is set to meet with Robert Habeck, Germany’s Vice Chancellor and Minister for Economic Affrairs, as well as with members of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Additionally, the minister will engage with German business leaders and company representatives from sectors such as glass manufacturing, bicycles, direct-reduced iron, and automotive parts, with the aim of attracting more German investments to Egypt.
