Paymob, Homzmart expand partnership to support digital transformation in furniture retail sector

Arab Finance: Paymob, a financial services enabler in the MENA region, and Homzmart, Egypt's e-commerce platform for furniture, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand their strategic partnership, as per a press release.
The collaboration aims to support the digital transformation of Egypt’s furniture retail market and explore growth opportunities in the GCC, particularly in the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
The two companies first partnered in 2021 to modernize Egypt's furniture sector, resulting in a 29% year-on-year (YoY) increase in digital payment volumes in the first half of 2024.
By integrating Paymob’s payment solutions into Homzmart’s platform, furniture merchants gained access to various payment methods, allowing them to attract more customers and increase sales.
