Egypt unveils EGP 5.5B in compensation for Ras El-Hekma residents 

Arab Finance: The Egyptian government has so far paid about EGP 5.5 billion in compensation to residents of the Ras El-Hekma area, according to a statement.

This update came during a meeting led by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly to follow up on the progress of the Ras El-Hekma development project and the resettlement of families in the Shams El-Hekma area. 

Mohamed El-Homsany, the Cabinet Spokesman, explained that the meeting covered detailed plans for resettling families and providing essential services in Shams El-Hekma.

The government confirmed that road construction for the new housing sites has been completed, with work to finish water, sewage, and electricity networks being underway, he highlighted.
