Arab Finance: The Egyptian Cabinet has approved a presidential decree establishing the Egyptian-Saudi Supreme Coordination Council, according to an official statement.
The agreement to form this council was signed on October 15th, 2024.
The council will enhance communication and cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in various areas of mutual interest.
It will be chaired by the Egyptian President on Egypt’s side and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the Saudi side.
The council includes ministers and officials from both countries, focusing on relevant fields based on their responsibilities, with regular meetings to alternate between the two countries and special meetings as needed.
