Orange Egypt launches Wi-Fi calling service

Arab Finance: Orange Egypt has launched its Wi-Fi calling service to enhance the communication experience, as per an emailed press release to Arab Finance on January 20th.
The service enables users to make and receive voice calls via Wi-Fi, ensuring high-quality communication even in areas with poor mobile network coverage, such as basements, garages, or crowded event spaces.
Wi-Fi Calling utilizes advanced technology that routes voice calls through the Wi-Fi network before relaying them to the mobile network.
The service is available to users with smartphones that support Wi-Fi calling, which includes most modern devices.
Customers can make calls as usual, with the option to choose Wi-Fi calling through their device settings, at no extra cost and using the same package rates they are subscribed to.
Initially available to most iOS devices and some Android phones, Orange Egypt plans to expand the service to more Android models in the future, with a goal to eventually include all phones running on various operating systems.
