Arab Finance: Masria Digital Payments (MDP), Africa's largest payment provider, has completed the migration of North African Bank’s card processing systems, marking its entry into the Libyan market, as per an emailed press release.

This milestone sets the stage for MDP to introduce a range of payment solutions, including card issuing, processing, and digital services in Libya.

The migration highlights MDP’s ability to manage the challenges of transitioning to a new payment processing platform, utilizing its experience in over 40 countries.

With modern technology and global expertise, MDP ensures a smooth transition that enhances operational services for North African Bank.

The migration aims to improve transaction speeds and security, providing a better payment experience for the bank’s customers.

This partnership marks the start of MDP’s expansion in Libya, where it plans to offer payment solutions while supporting the country’s financial development.

North African Bank, with 61 branches across Libya and a capital of 350 million Libyan Dinars, is focused on expanding its electronic services and improving the quality of its banking offerings.

MDP operates in over 40 countries, serving more than 200 banks and 60 fintech companies across MENA, Africa, and Eastern Europe.

The company has earned recognition as one of the top 50 fintech companies in the Middle East by Forbes.
