Gold prices in Egypt record collective surge on Tuesday

Arab Finance: Egypt witnessed a collective rise in gold prices on Tuesday, with the 24-karat recording a 5.75% growth at EGP 4,502.75 per gram for buying and EGP 4,531.5 for selling, iSagha reported.

Meanwhile, the 22-karat gold price increased by 5.25% to EGP 4,127.5 per gram for purchasing and EGP 4,153.75 for selling.

The 21-karat gold’s price rose by 5% to EGP 3,940 per gram for buying and EGP 3,965 for selling.

Likewise, the price of 18-karat gold climbed by 4.25% to EGP 3,377.25 per gram for buying and EGP 3,398.5 for selling.

The market posted a 40% hike in gold pound prices, reaching EGP 31,520 for purchasing and EGP 31,720 for selling.

On the other hand, the gold ounce’s price fell by 1%, recording $2,831.91 for buying and $2,832.18 for selling.
